TV — the Field at ten feet

A television is not a small desk or a big phone: it is a shared window a room of people look through together. What CTV is for (5a), the remote-first input grammar (5b), and — stated as design, not omission — what TV refuses to do (5c).

5a

Presence, and watching the world you belong to — together

@mamaayo
@crystal
story-circle Actor · running its routine
Black Love · story circle
focused — OK to enter
Black Love · commons
watching together · 4 in this room
Nia — the story circle starts when Mama Ayo sits. Crystal is already there; the door on your left is open to this house.
The living-room posture. Type is bigger, the HUD is quieter — one chip, one line, one focused thing. The signed-in member's ally speaks; everyone on the couch hears the same world. "Watching together · 4 in this room" is a room-presence count, which is legal; nothing about the people is ever scored, ranked, or measured.
presence
Being in a Scene at ten feet is being somewhere with people, ambiently — the Field as a window left open. Your presence renders to others exactly as on any surface: position, never a timer.
watching the world
The always-live quality is what television was always for. A Project's room while packages fly; a Forum while Envoys trade tokens; a Move performed in Kidunaversity — narrated by the ally, cited on request, unfolding whether or not anyone holds the remote.
visiting together
A room of people crossing a Portal as one — a family walking Black Love's story circle, a team touring a returned build. One member signs in; the household visits under their membership, as guests of the room they're in, guided by the Host ally where the member's grants end.

The remote-first grammar — focus is the sky rim, walking is holding

D-pad moves focus between touchable things. Focus is the sky rim, brighter and 2px at ten feet — the same law as pointer and thumb: sky = touchable, one focused thing at a time.
Holding a direction walks. Tap-tap-tap hops focus; press-and-hold on a direction moves your presence through the Scene at walk speed. Position stays honest — no teleporting between highlights.
OK enters, acts, or asks. On a Portal: enter (a plain press — entering is never a signature). On a card: turn it over (front consequence, back context). On the band: talk — the mic button or the phone as keyboard.
Back is retreat, never exit. It steps your presence back toward the door you came through. Leaving a Scene is walking out of it; the Field never dumps you to a menu.
Long-press OK is reserved and inert. It is the signature gesture, and TV does not sign. Holding OK gets the ally saying so: "Signing lives on your phone or at your desk — I've put this at your objects there."
One gesture set, four surfaces: sky rims respond, plain press enters, press-and-hold signs. TV keeps the first two and honors the third by refusing it.

Voice through the remote's mic goes to the ally like any other saying. No on-screen keyboard beyond a handle search; anything longer, the ally offers the phone.

What TV refuses to do — stated, because refusals are design

No signatures. A television is a shared screen in a shared room; a signature is one person vouching. Press-and-hold does not exist here — not even the practice version, which stays in Kidunaversity. ACTIONS that need signing appear on TV as facts and wait at their objects on your phone and desk.
No money. Nothing that moves value renders on TV — no balances on the wall, no wallet, no Compute purchase. All money authorization lives on the web; kiduna.cash is named aloud by the ally when asked, never rendered.
No building. The bench, grants, uploads, packages — Studio's verbs need a lap, not a couch. TV shows the results.
No per-person accounts on the glass. One member signs in; the room watches as a room. Anything personal — the meanwhile, private Records — the ally keeps for the surfaces that are yours alone.
TV's sentence, R8: the Field on the wall is the world visible; the world's levers stay in your hands.

kiduna.tv, the site, is the download and the explanation — what CTV is for, in these words — not a fifth surface.
